This policy explains what information this site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to SAINTSTRATUS.COM and nothing else.
Saint Stratus is a two-person music project based in Austin, Texas. There is no analytics team here and no advertising business. The short version: the site measures how many people visit and which pages they read, it stores your email address only if you hand it over, and it sells nothing to anyone.

If you sign up for the mailing list, we collect the email address you enter and the date you signed up. That is the whole record. We use it to send occasional announcements about releases and shows, and for nothing else.
If you contact us directly, we keep whatever you send us for as long as it takes to reply and a reasonable period afterward.
When you load a page, our hosting provider and analytics tools record standard technical data: the pages you view, the approximate region you're in, the referring site, your browser and device type, and a truncated or anonymised IP address. This is aggregate traffic measurement. It is not used to build a profile of you, and we make no attempt to identify individual visitors.
Some of this happens regardless of your cookie choice, because it's a byproduct of a web server answering a request. The rest is gated behind your consent — see below.
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. This site uses very few.
When you first visit, you'll see a banner asking whether to allow analytics cookies. Nothing in the analytics category loads until you accept. If you reject, or ignore the banner entirely, those scripts never run.

These only load if you accept the analytics category. If you later withdraw consent, the _ga cookies are deleted automatically.
Webflow Analyze also runs on this site. It is cookieless — it stores nothing in your browser and shares nothing with Google. We still hold it to your consent choice, so rejecting analytics turns it off too, even though it sets no cookie.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie preferences link in the site footer. Withdrawing is exactly as easy as consenting. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings, though this will also clear the record of your preference and the banner will reappear.

We use a small number of third-party services. Each is a processor acting on our instructions, and each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with data.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is no advertising on this site.
We will disclose information if legally compelled to — a subpoena, court order, or equivalent — and we'll tell you if we're permitted to.
Pages on this site link to or embed music from Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and similar platforms, and may link to ticketing services for shows.
Following a link takes you to a service we don't control, operating under its own privacy policy. Embedded players are more involved: a player that loads inside a page can set its own cookies and see that you visited, whether or not you press play. Where such embeds exist, they are treated as third-party content and, where they set cookies, gated behind the analytics consent category.
Rights vary by where you live. Regardless of jurisdiction, if you ask us to delete what we hold about you, we will.
If you're in the UK or EEA (UK GDPR / GDPR): you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your national data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
If you're in Texas (TDPSA): you have the right to confirm whether we process your data, access and correct it, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling. We do none of those three, so the opt-out is already the default. If we refuse a request, you may appeal, and we'll respond within 60 days.
If you're in California (CCPA/CPRA): you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.
Other US states with comprehensive privacy laws grant broadly similar rights, and we apply the same process to all requests.
To exercise any of these, email INFO@SAINTSTRATUS.COM. We'll respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need longer. We may need to confirm your identity before acting — usually by replying from the address in question.
Our service providers are based in the United States, so information collected from visitors outside the US is transferred there. Where required, these transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards maintained by each provider.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top and, where the change affects what you consented to, ask for your cookie preferences again.
